Works but not as good as it should
I got passed the messenger app switch because I rarely have any major issues with that. Later their mobile posting is very slow. It's not my phone or my network connection but when I try to post a status in my news feed it takes a really long time to post forcing me to just give up and discard the post (sigh) I hope they at least fix that issue but everything else seems to work ok (liking a post, commenting on a post etc.) but it seems lately software companies are getting stupider adding useless or buggy features in their products or downgrading features making them more and more frustrating. Honestly your better off on a laptop computer if you want to post something. Just hope they fix the status update lag problem.
>UPDATE< really REALLY annoyed with this ‘most relevant’ comments filter permanently on & to be able to turn it off you have to be an administrator. It blocks almost 80 percent of comments I try to view in posts. It claims to be a spam filter of some sort based on what Google has said about it but it seems to be very indiscriminate spam blocker & blocks nearly every comment in just about every thread even if its likely not spam. So dumb. They should at lest give the user the option of being able to disable or adjust this ‘most relevant’ comments filter.

Facebook??? Did it, Done, Over it...
I started FB to reconnect with old friends....stayed true to FB for 4 years...THEN...for the first time ever my phone got wet and destroyed. I had an accident got banged up and wound up under water, with my phone and some personal belongings in my pockets....I thought everything was fine when I received my new phone...BUT...when I tried to reestablish my FB accounts...IT WAS A JOKE/NIGHTMARE!!! I had accumulated 400 plus friends over the 4 year period. I sent out a message letting everyone know what happened! Once I started resending all the friend requests, a couple of well meaning people, reported that I had been hacked, (without checking with me first)! So FB....instead of just looking and investigating what was going on....completely shut down my access to anyone...!!!??? I have to send a picture of my license or passport, or some sort of legal significant ID just to prove who I am!! What!!! FB has access to all my info, pull it up and see...I sent in my address, but that wasn’t good enough for them ???....FB I’m done with it!!! You all can suk it, I’m a 58 yr old Marine Veteran, and I’ll just bet you won’t post a negative review from a loyal user...!!! There are too many other enjoyable ways to connect with all of my friends....!!! What a joke you have turned out to be...truly a disappointment...!!

Glitches
With a site so big glitches are expected, but I’m tired of going to most recent to see what my friends actually post just to see the same 3 friends’ posts. Typically I see 4 “new” posts (by New I mean ones I have yet to see not recent) then it shows me the highlights of my news feed or what people posted 3 weeks ago that I have yet to see. I have 60 or so friends, 10 don’t really use it, but I find myself only seeing posts from people I regularly talk to in messenger and that’s it. If I don’t talk to them in messenger Facebook doesn’t let me see their posts. I’ve even ensured I’m following them.
The next thing is the ads. It’s great Facebook is free and directs people to products they might enjoy, but when I say something is irrelevant why is it continuously shown? “Want some weight loss pills?” Nope I’m ok with being obese thanks. “How about diapers for a baby even though you don’t have one?” Nope. “Oh we noticed you enjoyed that video about makeup maybe you have acne.” Even if I did I wouldn’t care. Some of the ads are depressing, my husband and I can’t have children yet I’m constantly berated by ads about babies, even after I say hide ad, irrelevant, don’t show this again, or hide ads like this. It’s like showing an old person an ad for a funeral home. Can we please at least listen when people say “DON’T SHOW THIS!”
